Injured Evergreen football player dies at Harborview
A week after Warren Hills quarterback Evan Murray died as the result of injuries sustained during a high school football game, two player at a Seattle-area highs schools are in critical condition after sustaining injuries in games last Friday night.
Highline Public Schools spokeswoman Catherine Carbone Rogers said Kenny Bui died late Monday morning. Bui, a senior, was taken to Harboview’s Intensive Care Unit and it was announced Monday he had passed away.

Bui becomes the fourth high school football player to die because of an on-field injury in the last month.
Johnson said Young was hurt in the fifth play of the game.
There are licensed and certified trainers at every game, Rogers said.
The injuries to Bui and Young came a week after another player in the Seattle area, Ramon Angel-Oros from Pateros High, collapsed during a game. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he underwent surgery and had been in critical condition over the weekend.
