Bills OL coach Kromer arrested in Florida for battery
Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer was arrested early Sunday morning in Florida on a battery charge, according to Walton County (Fla.) public jail records.
According to the Walton County Sheriff, via NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Kromer was arrested after a “physical altercation with his neighbor’s son”. He was released at 3:10 a.m.
Rapoport added more details of the arrest in his next tweet with information for the Walton County Jail. The NFL’s personal conduct policy was amended in December with an intent to take a firmer stance against employees who are involved in incidents of violence.
“We are aware of the report and in the process of gathering the facts”, Bills senior vice president of senior communications Scott Berchtold said in a statement.
Kromer joined the team in January after being fired from the Chicago Bears. New Bills head coach Rex Ryan brought Kromer along as their offensive line coach just a couple weeks later.
