Photo of White man, friends posting racist comments about Black co-worker’s

A man was sacked from his job after posting a photo and racially-charged comments to Facebook. Shortly after Roth posted the photo on September 16, a series of offensive comments followed.

“A person said, ‘Oh, you mean to tell me that you just have wild kids running through your office building?’ And that’s when I said ‘he was feral.’ That was interpreted as racist and that, honestly, was not my intention whatsoever”. Several of Roth’s Facebook friends attempted to caption the photo, insisting that he’d become a “slave owner”, with mocking comments about the child. He was previously employed at Polaris Marketing Group in Atlanta before the post went viral. Shelton created her own Facebook post about her son with the hashtag #HisNameIsCayden, and the response on social media has been overwhelming. “I feel not only poor Cayden has been victimized but myself for being targeted”, Roth told FOX 5 Atlanta. Hilton was sacked from his job a short time later.

The child has been identified by his mother Sydney as Cayden Jace. Myself and the entire PMG family in no way condones this kind of behavior and would never willingly associate with anyone who does.

The swift move generated a large number of positive comments for the agency, such as: “When my business is big enough to need marketing advice, Polaris will be the first place I visit”. “To whom do I send my resume?”
