Photos: Carly Fiorina and her “body woman”
New York Carly Fiorina has evolved like the Republican entrant along the occasion in measured fundraisers people, sketch the awareness of a given multimillionaire Koch bros and other well-to-do donors could you instantaneously restructure her shoestring presidential promotion.
During an appearance on “Fox News Sunday”, Carly Fiorina said she has “seen the footage” of an abortion she vividly described during the GOP debate, even after we and other fact checkers reported that no such footage exists in the undercover videos taken at Planned Parenthood clinics.
To my surprise, she said she had indeed used this counter-argument, showing that Boxer was guilty of the fallacy of not building the proper counter-factual.
After being pressed to specify how many charities, she replied, “I’d just say dozens”.
That’s roughly 40 times the amount the 2010 senate campaign had-but the Washington Post barely mentions it. And let’s not forget this is the same media organization that was widely mocked after trying to claim Carly wasn’t a secretary while noting she had been a full time secretary after college.
Flores didn’t respond when asked why Fiorina doesn’t entrust her charitable givings to a donor-advised fund that promises not to give money to Planned Parenthood.
Her campaign thus far has been a bare-bones operation, relying on a young, relatively low-paid, skeletal staff as opposed to the sprawling operations built by more well-endowed candidates like Bush.
Even before her rapid rise in the polls – she has vaulted to second place in the key early voting state of New Hampshire – Fiorina had already garnered about $2 million in support from the likes of reclusive hedge fund baron Robert Mercer and former Univision CEO Jerrold Perenchio.
“Imagine if we could bring a few of that pro-life passion into being more, well, pro-life”, he said. “Watch a fully formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking, while someone says we have to keep it alive to harvest its brain”. “They have been supportive of my Senate race”. “She’s good in the room”, said one participant at the event, who declined to be named.
She’s still working on keeping the candidate’s favorite “crunchy gum” in her bulging bag.
Fiorina told Boston Herald Radio she’d welcome their financial support.
Fiorina also served as the chairwoman of Good360 from 2012 to 2015. Schieber had hairspray, mints, pantyhose, hand sanitizer, trail mix at the ready and alternated seamlessly between offering water, a pen or taking photographs as Fiorina shook hands and posed for photos. “And she doesn’t react like an adolescent”.
