Arms race of Cosby accusers? ‘Dateline’ to air 27 women at once

The program, “The Cosby Accusers Speak”, airs at 9 p.m. Friday on WESH-Channel 2. He has so far declined to comment publicly about any of the allegations or about these latest developments.

The women – who range in age from 46 to 80 – will detail their experiences and respond to skepticism about their claims in a group interview on NBC Dateline Friday.

Numerous alleged victims said they were first mentored by Cosby, a powerful entertainment figure who promised to help newcomers navigate the industry. Attorney Gloria Allred, who represents each of the women accusing the former “The Cosby Show” star of rape, will be featured in the special in a few capacity as well.

The lawsuit, to be filed today in the United States District Court Central District of California, Los Angeles, describes how Goins immediately felt “sick to her stomach and dizzy” after drinking an alcoholic beverage brought to her by Cosby at the party. He has previously denied Goins’ accusations and denied Cosby was in town on the date one of the model’s lawyers has said the incident occurred. After exiting the room she was approached by Cosby who handed her champagne.

Goins’ statement that she was given a drink and blacked out is similar to numerous statements of other alleged Cosby victims.

Detectives passed their findings to the US Attorney’s Office for central California just days ago, which will decide whether or not to press criminal charges.
