Ronda Rousey Becomes First Woman On Cover Of Men’s Fitness In Australia
Ronda Rousey’s busy week promoting UFC 193 just got a little busier, as ESPN on Monday announced that the UFC women’s bantamweight champ is set to guest-host an October. 7 edition of “SportsCenter“.
Rowdy will follow up being the first female ever to grace the cover of Men’s Fitness with another first.
The UFC women’s bantamweight champion is front and center in the public eye like no MMA fighter before her. That could prove to be irrelevant if Rousey chooses to use her world class grappling skills, but the champion seems to always want to prove herself by fighting against her opponent’s strengths. “Guest Hosting” the nation’s most popular sports news show on television, ESPN’s SportsCenter.
“I’m excited to co-host SportsCenter with Lindsay on Wednesday”, Rousey said in a release.
Now, the 28-year-old superstar is adding another “first” to her résumé: SportsCenter anchor.
Rousey revealed in a statement that she feels honoured to be involved in the show alongside anchor Lindsay Czarniak.
On November. 15, Rousey looks to make history once again, when she meets challenger Holly Holm at UFC 192 in Melbourne, Australia.
