Shania Twain Cancels Two Concerts Due to Illness
Shania Twain has crossed out her “Stone This Country” visit in New Hampshire and New York in the wake of being determined to have a respiratory disease.
Shania Twain revealed on Tuesday night that she has been diagnosed with a respiratory infection and would have to take a break from singing to heal.
Unfortunately, due to her current touring schedule, these two dates will not be rescheduled, the Facebook post continues.
Twain’s tour began in June in Seattle, Washington and will wrap up on October. 11 in Toronto.
Twain, who turned 50 in August, said at the time the tour was announced that it was a “celebration tour” after finishing up her two-year Las Vegas residency.
The country singer is expected to recover for her last seven shows, beginning with an October. 9 concert in Quebec City. Shania Twain apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause her fans and greatly appreciates their understanding. She’ll head into the studio after she finishes the live performances. I’d like to spend a lot more time doing that. I want to write for other people.
Tickets for Twain’s final Canadian tour dates are on sale now. I’d like to write more books.
