3-year-old DJ blows crowd away on South Africa’s Got Talent
Footage of DJ Arch Jnr’s set on South Africa’s Got Talent (below) sees the toddler mix up a few rhythms easily, flicking faders and turning knobs to get the crowd going so nuts that the judges press the “golden button” to send him straight through to the semi-finals.
The youngster’s father explained how he was first introduced to electronic music. Plus, this same music writer actually just spilled coffee all over said standup desk and is officially less coordinated than a three year old.
Arch Jr’s performance on the show was so well received by the judges that one of the panel, DJ Fresh, pushed the “golden buzzer”, which granted the contestant with a shortcut to the semi-final. Touted as the “world’s youngest DJ”, Arch Junior is fast becoming something of a seasoned artist, now boasting over 49,000 Facebook followers and, according to Pulse Radio, endorsements from Guess Kids, Beats By Dre, Mini Cooper and Djay Software.

Humorously the boy stares around at the audience with a look of disbelief and concentration etched on his little face.
At the end of his performance the toddler casually steps away from the decks and waves to the audience. It means I am loving it so much’.
