Cleveland Cavaliers and Tristan Thompson Standoff Continues

It wasn’t the only sweet spot for the Cavs Monday evening.

Anderson Varejao played more than 16 minutes in the Wine and Gold scrimmage on October 6 and was relaxed and content when he stood in front of microphones and cameras to talk about it.

It’ll be interesting to see how Kaun gets his looks within the flow of the offense. “He’s an exceptional, exceptional athlete”. He was 2-for-2 from that spot – one from each corner – in the first quarter.

The Cavs will open the regular season with three games in four nights, playing road games at Chicago (Oct. 27) and Memphis (Oct. 28) before their home opener October 30 against Miami. He weighs a robust 205 pounds.

While Kyrie Irving was already locked into a contract extension before the start of last season, and everyone in the world knew that LeBron James simply wanted to position himself to paid like the King he is, Kevin Love was a much more uncertain piece to the puzzle. With no cap space to sign a replacement for him for several years if he were to walk, signing him has seemed like a vital move all summer in my eyes.
