Have Arsenal found a new forward faster than Walcott?
And that’s exactly what big Manchester United fan and world’s fastest man Usain Bolt had to do.
Bolt bet his Arsenal-supporting friend that Louis van Gaal’s men would triumph at the Emirates, with the loser having to wear a shirt from the opposing side.
Goals from Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil saw the Gunners storm into an unassailable lead after less than 20 minutes leaving the world’s fastest man to adorn the colours of his team’s rivals.
Bolt also took the occasion to announce his plans to hang up his spikes after the 2017 Olympics in Rio: ‘I start training for the Olympics next Monday [October 12]. Perhaps, the presence of Bolt would have been appreciated by Bastian Schweinsteiger and Michael Carrick, who had a torrid afternoon in midfield.
Bolt is an avid United supporter and attends matches at Old Trafford when he can.
Still as Bolt is sponsored by Puma, the same company that manufacture Arsenal’s kits, we can at least hope that he did not have to pay for the “privilege”.
