NXT TakeOver: Respect: Time, TV schedule and live stream

That’s not just due to the fact that the main event is a 30-minute Iron Man match between two women for the highest honor in their division. And now that I’m literally the leader in the locker room, and the champion, it’s a huge opportunity for me to help girls while I have the chance. I’ve done that plenty (and will continue to do so elsewhere), and NXT can and does sell itself all on its own. The night was a showcase for the next generation, and, more importantly, the night was a capstone for the fantastic women’s wrestling revolution that has taken place in NXT since its inception. Then on the outside of the ring, Asuke stared down Emma, but Emma wouldn’t even look her in the eyes. I’m blown away. That’s wrestling.

Let’s get it out of the way right now: It’s certainly a bummer (for a lack of a better word) that a “real” tag team doesn’t make it to the finals of the Classic. And if, for a few reason, you weren’t already sold on the heel and face dynamics of Sasha and Bayley before this match, I can only hope this is the match that changes your mind.

I’m going to be honest – mixed blessing. It would be exciting to be able to do something with her, and Asuka as well. Cody talked about his father dying on the same day that his idol John Wayne, and said that tonight “we are all Rhodes”.

You can see the video of Charlotte’s comments above. But I think that’s just a title here. I’m actually looking forward to all of the duties because I want to empower women. And, technically, I am the NXT Women’s Champion, so until I’m the Divas Champion, I’m going to keep using that. They deserve to main-event.
