StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void prologue campaign now free for all
The collector’s edition of “StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void” includes a number of intergalactic features for an ultimate gaming experience that is found nowhere else in the planet.
Legacy of the Void is just around the corner after an incredibly long wait and to increase the hype for it; Blizzard has announced that The Whispers of Oblivion prologue missions, which act as a bridge between Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void is free for everyone, whether they own the previous games or not. Yes, anyone-even if you’ve never, in your entire life, played StarCraft II. The upcoming game will obviously be dealing more towards the Protoss species and will contain numerous additional units and multiplayer changes from its predecessors.
With the scheduled release of the third standalone expansion pack in the “Start Craft II” series of games next month, players have been itching to find out how the story unfolds after the events of “Heart of the Swarm”. It features how the game’s cinematics were made, a brief history of “StarCraft”, interviews with the developers of the game and more.
Fans of other Blizzard titles can also benefit from the collector’s edition as it will come with several in-game exclusives.
The Soundtrack features 21 tracks that are all inspired by the game’s haunting echoes of the Void. The Field Manual, meanwhile, is a 174-page book that features illustrations, lore, origins and facts about the technology of the three races making up the “StarCraft” universe.
Archon Mode also becomes a part of Custom Games where map makers can reload the map using Patch 3.0 editor, enables new variants being offered and republish their creations.
And as I said, we’re only a month-and-change away from Legacy of the Void.
