The No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes are coming from a 34-27 win over Indiana in Week 5.
Will we finally see Ohio State play a ideal game this weekend? The Buckeyes are heavy favorites entering the contest, and these 5 reasons show why Ohio State will clobber the dismal Terrapins.
In anticipation for Saturday’s game, Ohio State released a must-see hype video on YouTube.
Nikki Walts’ goal in the 67th minute broke a tie and led Ohio State to a 3-2 victory over Purdue Thursday night at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. A few of that had to do with the secrecy of whom would be starting at quarterback, but a lot of it had to do with what Elliott did against Wisconsin, Alabama and Oregon at the end of last season. On the ground, Ezekiel Elliot rushed for 274 yards and three touchdowns.
The key Maryland’s success has been the rushing attack, which is averaging 162.6 yards per game, due in large part to its ability to pick up large chunks at a time. Senior Brandon Ross passed Josh Allen to move to 12th on Maryland’s all-time rushing list and now has 1,987 yards. In receiving, Jalin Marshall had 110 yards in six receptions while Michael Thomas added 54 yards and one touchdown in four catches. Urban Meyer has the highest winning percentage (.849) among active coaches and is third all-time.
