Drake denies Serena Williams engagement rumours

According to OK! magazine, Drake whisked Williams to his hometown of Toronto and got on bended knee.

“She said yes but they want to keep it on the down-low for now”, says one source. But Drake knows how lucky he is and, frankly, he wanted to lock it down. And furthermore, this is the second time that Williams and Drake are giving this romance a shot, having famously embarked on a short-lived fling a few years back. Drake has been flying all over the world just to support his “fiancée” at all of her championship matches. They appeared all concerned about the rapper’s real intention to Williams when the dating rumors emerged.

Serena is very private about her personal life and has not confirmed they are dating.

Drake and Serena had been spotted together at various times over the summer, most notably making smoochie-kisses in an Italian restaurant in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The source continued to say that although the pair have been romantically linked for about four years, “not that he has her, he isn’t letting her go”. News that, “all of Serena’s friends approve of the pair” adding that Drake is “a true gentleman'”.

However the rep said that no such proposal took place and told MailOnline: The rumour is completely untrue’. Fans on Twitter aren’t believing the rumors either.
