Steve Jobs’ daughter skips movie screening, but parties with cast

Apparently, Powell-Jobs and the people who knew the former CEO personally believe that the film with Michael Fassbender as Jobs plays down his accomplishments while depicting him as cruel and inhumane. Specifically, Woz is frustrated with how his “brother”, as he calls Jobs, refuses to publicly recognize the team behind Apple II, which was designed by Woz. “Your brain was going, ‘We’re going to check out for three weeks.’ And it did”.

Noah pointed out that a few of the Apple community have claimed that “this is not Steve Jobs, the way you’ve portrayed him is incorrect”. “It’s the usual thing: is it’s not about whether people think it’s a good idea that you’re directing”. When question about the scandal, Sorkin staunchly replied: “Honest to God, my No. 1 emotion during that whole thing had nothing to do with the content of the emails or the people who sent them”.
