Watch Demi Lovato, Michelle Rodriguez Clash in ‘Confident’ Video
Midway through the action-packed video, the former Disney star tries to call a truce and reveals her brand only to find out that the two shared the same one.
Demi Lovato’s new single “Confident” couldn’t be a more appropriate title for how the singer feels about her body.
The music video for “Confident” kicks off on a bleak note for Lovato, who is residing in a maximum security prison.
It’s officially October 9, so that means WE GET TO SEE THE FULL MUSIC VIDEO FOR “CONFIDENT”! Though Lovato pretends to be alright externally, she feels traumatic inside. The pop star is taken down a hall in handcuffs and placed in a questioning room as the first couple lines of the song play. After being captured mid-mission, Lovato breaks free and finally comes face-to-face with Michelle for the ultimate showdown.
But there’s an epic fight scene, so we’ll give it a pass!
Lovato released the video after promoting it heavily via her social media accounts. The song portrays Lovato watching her ex-boyfriend hanging out with another girl.
Following her latest hit, “Cool For The Summer” which she performed with Iggy Azalea during the MTV Music Awards, “Confident” is the latest hit off of Demi’s forthcoming album of the same name.
