‘Star Wars: Battlefront’ News: New Multiplayer Modes Won’t Be Available in
The Star Wars universe has proven how compelling it is over the years, but now it’s showing that it can even make a stale game genre feel fresh.
This week, the game showcases four new multiplayer modes, namely Blast, Cargo, Droid Run, and Supremacy. This is just as much of a showcase as it is a technical test for development purposes. A similar mode was already included in Battlefront 2.
“Drop Zone” on the Sullust map sees two teams of 8 players find and defend escape pods that are crashing down to earth. It’s a game that belies the genre it inhabits, allowing all ages to enjoy the gameplay, without ever being horribly graphic with its violence. It’s possible we may see characters from the new movie in the near future.
If you’re like me, you’re probably itching for the chance to get home so you can fire off your blasters once again.
What is the Star Wars Battlefront Companion app?
As for PC, well, you saw those required specifications right? And you will nearly always have to deal with that enemy before continuing to the objective point.
Early access to the beta has been great but it’s still unable to answer the biggest question that hangs over Battlefront: is there enough content and longevity to make it more than just a passing novelty? If you see where the opposition forces are coming from, you can potentially pin them down by shooting down a corridor. We realise that might not sound terribly exciting but the graphics are so staggeringly good that you can’t help but be impressed by even the smallest detail. In this regard, death comes swiftly like in Call of Duty and Battlefield. This ability will be one of a number of useful items such as a rocket launcher, a team shield or a Republic Starfighter. The distinct white suits of the Empire clash with the earth-toned garb of the Rebel Alliance.
“Star Wars Battlefront” is scheduled to be released in North America and Brazil on Nov. 17, 2015, and in Australia on Nov. 19, 2015, and in Europe on Nov. 20, 2015. So don’t expect an army of Darth Vaders to come rampaging your way.
Carried out on three different resolutions and on a few of the best GPUs money can buy, Star Wars: Battlefront gives slightly better frame-rates on higher resolutions (WHQD and Ultra HD) on AMD’s flagship Fury X than it does on Nvidia’s competitor, the GeForce GTX 980 Ti.
