Facebook finally launches Messenger on the Apple Watch
And now, the Palo Alto-based social networking giant has now upgraded its photo-editing suite of features to include an excellent and fun new scribble functionality that lets users turn illustrator by doodling directly onto photographs.
The Messenger Apple Watch app is fully watchOS 2 compatible, which means that it’s a fully native offering running on the wearable. Users can draw attention to parts of a picture with a splash of color, add in a small doodle to illustrate a point or even create a new illustration on top of the uploaded picture.
According to the Verge, the app will allow the users to send voice clips, likes, stickers and more according to the app description. You can choose your ink color, choose the “pen” that you will use, then drag your finger across the screen to do your doodle. In addition, Facebook Messenger also now supports multitasking on the iPad if you have iOS 9. The support comes via an update that Facebook released today; the app, which now sits at version 38, is available now in the iTunes store.
If you do try out the new and updated Messenger app for iOS, then don’t forget to share with us with you think about it. After you select a photo that you’d like to upload, choose the edit button, where as you know by now, you can do a lot like adjust brightness, apply filters, etc. Now you can see a Doodle option as well.
