Mario Gotze out for 10-12 weeks with groin injury
There have been reports in the football media over the past year or so that the Germany global star Mario Gotze could be ready to leave his Bundesliga club and Arsenal were one of the big clubs who were spoken about as a potential destination for the exciting young attacking player.

Germany team doctor Hans-Wilhelm Mueller-Wohlfahrt says “Mario suffered a tendon tear in the adductor muscle while making a lunge”.
Gotze left Dortmund under a cloud after sitting out the 2013 Champions League final against Bayern with a hamstring injury ” a match scheduled to be his last before an already sealed move to Bavaria.
Goetze scored the extra-time victor against Argentina in last year’s World Cup final in Brazil.
“Germany boss Joachim Low said: “It’s annoying for us and a real shame for him. I’m certain he’ll be back to his good form again”.
Meanwhile, Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger looks likely to be unavailable for the Georgia game as well due to what is reported to be a thigh injury. The chances are slim though.
“It was to be expected that Ireland would be defending with nine, sometimes even 10 men, get behind the ball and try long, hopeful balls”, Low said, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
“And of course I want to win the European Championship with the national team this summer”.
If Ireland lose or finish with a scoreless of 1-1 draw with Poland they will finish third and enter the play-offs.
