Windows 10 Mobile Release Date Announced

Windows 10 Mobile is Microsoft’s latest play to make a significant mark in the smartphone market, where it now holds less than a 3 percent share, with IDC predicting that figure to remain unchanged for the next 12 months.

Microsoft will be hoping that Surface Pro 4 enjoys a lion’s share of the tablet market once it gets launched.

Thanks to an innovative new locking mechanism known as a muscle wire lock, the display is easily and robustly connected to the primary chassis, which helps to ensure a seamless transition between tablet and laptop mode. A fully loaded Surface Book will be upwards of $3,000 United States dollars.

Based on what Microsoft said, there seems to be no compromises in the device’s full-sized, backlit keyboard, even though it’s removable from the screen. Battery life depends on lots of factors and it’s too early to know if Microsoft can deliver on its promise.
