The Nevada Wolf Pack will welcome the New Mexico Lobos to Mackay Stadium in the second Mountain West conference game of the season for both teams.
On Nevada’s next possession, Stewart was sacked and stripped of the ball, leading to a 77-yard fumble return for a touchdown by New Mexico cornerback Nias Martin.

Junior DB Elijah Moody clinched Nevada’s victory with his first career interception, picking off a pass at midfield with 1:03 left in the contest. Nevada Wolf Pack, on the other hand, ranks No. 64 in rushing offense at home with 200.0 yards. Stewart threw to Richardson behind the first down sticks on a short hook route.
The Lobos defense struggled most of the night.
Offensively, the match matches up the Nevada Wolf Pack No. 90 ranked offense at 25.5 points scored per game against a New Mexico Lobos defense that ranks No. 71 at 25.5 points allowed per game. Nevada’s thorough performance against the Lobos re-established its pursuit for a title in the Mountain West and will have the Wolf Pack once again feeling confident about its abilities.
The Nevada (2-2) will host New Mexico (2-2) in a NCAA College Football game at the Mackay Stadium, Reno, NV on October 10, 7:00 PM.
