Google Updates Drive App With Request Access Feature

Google is aware of the situation and posted a message on its Apps Status Dashboard at 2:55 p.m.

We’re investigating reports of an issue with Google Drive. The message, for a few users, reads, “Trying to connect”.

According to the latest available information, Google Drive had 240 million registered users as of previous year. Outages are an inherent risk of cloud services, and it’s phenomenal that Google manages the uptime that it does.
