Cortana Running On Xbox One Earlier?
Xbox One players should wait a little longer before they can begin to play their favorite games with the help of a personal assistant, as Microsoft prepares to launch Cortana in the company’s popular gaming console next year. And do this a few months before it was supposed to be released for general public use.
The Xbox One should automatically take you to the Cortana app to set it up.
Apparently, you can load up Cortana on Xbox One preview by going to settings, going up, then repeatedly mashing the “A” button. From there, we’ll ensure that the experience is tuned for gamers before we officially launch Cortana in 2016. The virtual assistant doesn’t offer the full range of Xbox One commands yet, but it is still able to perform other tasks.
“You can dictate emails to Cortana and with Cortana on all Windows 10 devices, your search terms, flight info, and news feeds are in sync on your phone, PC, and tablet”. Cortana on Xbox One makes it possible for users to access any information available in this feature on other platforms, for which Cortana was already released. Microsoft wants to officially launch Cortana next year, but besides the preview expected in the new Xbox One experience by the end of this year, the hidden feature can be considered an early glimpse on how Cortana will work on Xbox One.
This activates Cortana and it’s immediately snapped at the side of a game or app. As the Xbox One preview is now running Windows 10, the Cortana experience looks identical. Microsoft has stated that “Cortana” will be socially intelligent and can either be voice activated, or by typing in commands.
