Fired Benghazi Committee Investigator Alleges Bias Against Hillary Clinton
David Brock, the founder of the pro-Clinton Correct the Record organization, called the committee’s investigation “a political witch hunt”. This is a habit. Bernie Sanders striking a nerve with voters who, frankly, are worn out by the thought of the never-ending Bush-Clinton grip on power.
Last month, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy raised eyebrows when he welcomed the investigation resulting in any damage of the Clinton campaign. Thanks to the Benghazi special committee we now know how our Libya policy was made and why it collapsed amid a hail of bullets and mortar shells at our Benghazi consulate. She’s number one in every national Democratic poll and tops every one of her potential Republican opponents. “Her numbers are dropping”, McCarthy continued. “Too many blocs pulling in too many directions”.
He committed the serious sin of telling the truth and that cost him his dream job.
In a related report by the Inquisitr, Hillary Clinton’s Benghazi emails were released by the hundreds earlier in 2015.
This is our debate now. This time, the bad thing happened in Libya.
“Well probably not much of anything”, Gowdy replied. Whoop de doo. Arkansas was overrun with them during the late Whitewater investigation.
“This committee was set up, as they have admitted, for the goal of making a partisan, political issue out of the deaths of four Americans”, she said. Issa’s committee broadcast classified Central Intelligence Agency information live on C-SPAN, outed and endangered Libyans who worked for the U.S. He claims it was because he resisted pressure to exclusively probe Clinton and the State Department’s role in the attack. Later, Issa spent 16 days in a Chinese finger trap. Grayson is accusing them of using the House Benghazi investigation simply to thwart Hillary Clinton, according to United Press worldwide.
Democrats have seized on that gaffe as vindication that the committee was always a partisan witch-hunt aimed at sinking Clinton’s presidential prospects.
“They’re just covering up for Hillary”. Of the 136 questions he directly asked Clinton, only eight are about Benghazi.
That watchdog group was founded by Brent Bozell, an outspoken conservative who has slammed Clinton over Benghazi and her use of a personal email server and this year endorsed Republican Sen.
Stupid is the point.
While McCarthy’s exposure of Gowdy’s committee as a sham reminded me of Toto’s curtain-pulling in the “Wizard of Oz”, my reaction was the same as Police Capt. Renault in “Casablanca”, when he announced his reaction to finding gambling in Rick’s casino: “I’m shocked, shocked”.
The new developments come at a hard time for committee Republicans, who plan to question Clinton on October. 22 despite growing requests to shut down the inquiry. The upshot is that the Clinton campaign appears to be on a bi-monthly schedule of reintroducing itself. It’s absolutely enervating. People aren’t meant to be relaunched as often as phones.
And that’s how McCarthy made his misstep. “Not for him and not for anyone else”. It insisted he was “terminated for cause” due to his own “improper partiality” against Clinton and other members of President Barack Obama’s administration.
Hillary is not so lucky. Obama faced re-election less than two months’ later. And resentment, fear and punishment are very good at accommodating themselves to new facts. Mike Huckabee actually likes a few f***ing great rock and roll. And unlike Democrats, he hopes that the committee won’t be dismantled, but steered back toward its original mission.
The Blumenthal-Clinton e-mails, which the public has been denied access to (and we can completely understand why), are extremely damaging.
Republicans generally oppose legislation that restricts the ability of Americans to purchase and own guns, basing their position on the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution that legitimizes “the right of the people to keep and bear arms”. As you may well know, all the videotapes have not yet been released…We have now passed a [continuing resolution] through December 11. The New York Times has run one phony exclusive after another.
