Gemma Collins ‘banned from I’m a Celebrity’ over health fears
While the star – who lasted just 72 hours in the jungle past year – has got herself in awesome shape, doctors are said to be unsure whether she can handle the stress of the ITV show.
Gemma Collins – who has shown off her fantastic weight loss recently – didn’t cope well with the pressures of I’m A Celebrity when she appeared previous year.
But after completing the mandatory psych test for contestants, she was deemed too vulnerable.
‘Gemma is gutted becuase she was desperte to give it another go, ‘ an insider told The Sunday.
However it looks like Gemma could still be involved in the new series, as ITV bosses are said to been to sign her up in a few way.
Gemma, 34, posted this snap of him kissing her on Instagram – with a heart icon as a caption – after they met at a charity ball hosted by her interior designer pal, WAG Dawn Ward.
Meanwhile Craig Charles is also being lined up to re-enter the jungle after he was forced to leave due to the death of his brother a year ago.
The former Corrie star, 51, seems likely to become only the second celebrity after Katie Price to be in the hit series twice.
She then lost her first trial, which put her in the Celebrity Slammer with little food.
During the 2014 edition of the show, Gemma arrived in the Australian jungle and quickly declared: “I’m not cut out for this”.
Highlights of her time in the show included a breakdown in a helicopter, a malaria scare, and threatening suicide after not getting any treats brought in. She quit that as well.
