Northern Lights: Chance to see the aurora borealis in Derbyshire tonight
PARTS of Shepway were treated to a dazzling display in the skies overhead when the Northern Lights were spotted over the Channel.
Forecasters say that two coinciding space weather patterns mean that there is a good chance the lights will perform their bewitching dance again in the weeks ahead.

Scientists say there are more sightings of the aurora in the spring and autumn than in summer and winter.
