CARRIE ANNE MOSS’ Role in JESSICA JONES Revealed
Marvel Head of Television Jeph Loeb announced that Moss is playing Jeryn Hogarth. The panel revealed that Moss will in fact play a gender-swapped iteration of Marvel attorney Jeryn Hogarth, notable as an employee of the Rand corporation, so named for Danny Rand, the alter-ego of Iron Fist. Upon Danny’s return from K’un-Lun, Hogarth hired Misty Knight and Colleen Wing to contact Iron Fist and verify who he was. He’s long served as legal counsel for Danny, and was the business manager and part owner of Heroes for Hire.
Beloved genre actress Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) is joining Netflix’s Jessica Jones in a completely new role that may feel familiar to a few.
Just how Hogarth fits into Marvel’s Jessica Jones and how it ties into Iron Fist remains to be seen.
Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
