Local Groups Protest for Governor to Investigate Planned Parenthood, U of M
About three dozen pro-life activists gathered at Planned Parenthood’s Reading location on Saturday to participate in a nationwide protest aimed at stripping the organization of its federal funding. They came out, mercilessly dismembered and very much dead, their remains dumped in “leakproof container(s)”.
There is a desire across the nation, by people who do not use its services, to defund Planned Parenthood.
No matter how this pathology lab slices it, it is an abortion profiteer – a direct link in the chain of modern slavery we call “abortion“.
The protest, part of a national movement to speak out against Planned Parenthood’s practices, was planned and organized in advance by groups including the Michigan OAK Initiative.
But is defunding Planned Parenthood really pro-life? Pro-life activists contend the videos prove that Planned Parenthood illegally profits from selling tissue from aborted fetuses to medical researchers.
Anti-abortion protesters lined Charlotte Avenue over the weekend with the goal of keeping pressure on Planned Parenthood in the wake of a series of sting videos that began circulating in July. But the videos have renewed calls to strip all of the nonprofit’s government funding, even though federal law already prevents tax dollars from being spent on abortion services in most situations.
Tyler Green, solicitor general for the Utah attorney general’s office, said in court last month that Herbert has not claimed that any Utah Planned Parenthood officials were involved in the fetal tissue discussions. “And the answer to abortion is not balloons”.
Pro-life coalitions protested in St. Paul to convince Gov. Mark Dayton to run an investigation on Planned Parenthood and the University of Minnesota.
