Tech Glitch Delays Southwest Airlines Check-Ins
Airport police tweeted out a photo of a long line in Terminal 1 and said the problem was duplicated elsewhere.
Southwest Airlines is dealing with technical difficulties that are forcing them to check passengers in manually, reports 7News.
He said Houston, one of Southwest’s three original cities and a geographic no-brainer as an worldwide hub, will be the airline’s focus for “fairly a few time”.
Passengers were being asked to arrive 2 hours prior to their flights.
“We’re experiencing technology issues today which are requiring us to process Customers manually as they arrive at airports for travel”. While teams work diligently to enhance the performance of our technology, our airport-based Employees are working with Customers on their individual itineraries.
It also took to Twitter to apologize to customers, who took to social media to vent their frustration.
