Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Collector’s Edition Announced
One side features a full grown Faith and the other side, her as a child. While the name Mirror’s Edge Catalyst does not exactly blow the mind the new Collector’s Edition may have more success. For instance, highly anticipated titles such as the cyberpunk-themed Deus Ex: Mankind Divided allowed fans to vote on what items they wanted to see in the upcoming collector’s kit-including a full-scale replica of Adam Jensen’s combat rifle-while Fallout 4 is set to sell limited editions with a real-life working Pip-Boy. And after my last encounter with Mirror’s Edge, I’d have dug a few anti-nauseau pills, a branded chuck bucket and a clean shirt in any related collector’s edition. You’ll also get a steel book case, a couple of temporary tattoos, a lithograph, ten pieces of concept art, and a big storage box. For those who have Xbox One controllers will not have to press the right trigger and instead each combat action is done by pressing the X button when they are at the proximity range of their target. This relationship between player and character is important, as although the first game’s story wasn’t the most detailed the basic elements were there to help us to empathise with her dilemmas and struggles.
DICE hinted that the game will have decent open-world experience as players can explore or practice their parkour moves whenever they are not doing a mission. Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will release February 23, 2016 (February 25 in Europe).
