Here’s How Sidharth Malhotra Bonded With the Students in Auckland
Sidharth has been travelling through New Zealand and posting pictures of himself enjoying the many sights and adventures the country has to follow on his social media account.
With Sidharth, who enjoys wide popularity courtesy roles in films like “Hasee Toh Phasee“, “Brothers” and “Ek Villain“, coming on board as the tourism ambassador, the numbers are only poised to grow. “I have studied at the Delhi University, and it’s nothing like this”, said Sidharth, who spent five years in Mumbai before his first film released.
Siddharth who completed the first scheduled of his film “Baar Baar Dekho” in Glasgow a few days ago will be next seen in Shakun Batra’s “Kapoor & Sons” which also stars Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan and veteran actor Rishi Kapoor.
Sidharth said that while he has no phobia of heights, he feels if people who are scared of heights could attempt this “safe adventure”, the experience could help them let go of it. Sidharth himself is quite popular. Students at the University Of Auckland Business School were also quite enthusiastic about Sidharth’s visit.
Among the students were two Indian women rugby players, who are studying here on the New Zealand Prime Minister’s Sports Scholarship.
As soon as he had his safety gear in place, Sidharth stepped on the narrow path-way only to realise that this is the best way to kick-start his New Zealand adventure. He also rued the fact that India is not doing enough to push rugby as a sport.
The fit actor also spoke of his love for tennis, football, swimming and other outdoor activities, apart from suggesting interested students of cinema-related subjects to “come to Mumbai, the hub” to make a name for themselves. From adventure activities to food and wine experiences, local culture to luxury indulgence, New Zealand is gearing up to surprise Sidharth at every step of his journey.
