Anthony Ogogo voted off Strictly Come Dancing
He added: “People want to see entertaining dances, they want to see people do well, but also I think people like to see a journey”.
Anthony Ogogo has admitted to being “gutted” after leaving Strictly Come Dancing 2015 in last night’s results.
Left in the bottom two to face the dance off with chef Ainsley Harriott and partner, Natalie Lowe, it was Anthony who unfortunately was dealt the final blow.
According to the Daily Star, he said: “Being a novice, it’s hard to do well”.
Bruno agreed with Craig and Darcey, meaning Ainsley Harriott and Natalie Lowe were safely through to next week. Head judge Len Goodman said that he would have made the same choice as his fellow judges.
He explained: “When you’re up against Jay McGuiness who’s done ballet and Helen George who’s done ballet and Peter Andre who’s a popstar, it’s very hard to compete”.
On top of this he partly blames his departure on his career, as he thinks his being an athlete didn’t put him in good stead compared to the likes of BBC radio DJ Jeremy Vine.
Clearly feeling proud of her partner, Oti also had nothing but kind words to say about the sportsman. It didn’t, but Anthony said “he’d had the most incredible time” and Oti declared her partner “awesome and a brilliant friend”. I’m one of the very few in the competition who’s got no dance history.
He told The Sun: ‘I didn’t think that the BBC would put us together because we’re black or mixed race.
Andrea Bocelli performed Don’t Cry For Me Argentina from the movie Evita during the show and the pros opened things with a fantastic group dance.
The remaining thirteen couples will take to the dancefloor once again next Saturday when Strictly Come Dancing returns at 6.30pm, followed by a Sunday results show at 7:15pm, both on BBC1.
However, Mabuse didn’t hold any sort of grudge against Ogogo.
