$95k Limited-Edition Neiman Marcus Mustang Convertible Announced
Neiman Marcus, a luxury department store, commissioned Ford to create a special edition of their popular sports car. Several other features of the limited Mustang have also been questioned by national automotive writers, but Neiman Marcus hasn’t yet commented.
The “Matrix” actor is selling off a two-day trip through California and the ownership of a customised bike he co-designed as one of the fantasy gifts featured in this year’s Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. With supercharged 700 horsepower with 600 pound feet of torque by its 5.0-litre V8, we know that this Ford Mustang is fast.
Thankfully, owners will not be left to figure out how to use 700 horsepower on their own, as the purchase of this special Ford Mustang comes with a two-day Ford Racing School course to brush up on your high-performance driving skills. Then check out the 89th annual Neiman Marcus Christmas Book.
As noted by Automobile Mag, the Neiman Marcus 700-HP Mustang isn’t your regular kind of Mustang.
Interior pictures aren’t available yet, though Neiman Marcus’ promotional video reveals the Mustang Convertible has lost its rear bench in its transition to a limited-edition model. Power is being sent to the all-wheel drive system.
Elsewhere, the Mustang Neiman Marcus includes side-exiting Magnaflow exhausts, long-tube headers, Brembo brake calipers with Hawk Performance brake pads and sticky Nitto NT05 tyres. When mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, the Mustang Convertible Neiman Marcus Edition is said to accelerate to 96 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reach a 314 km/h top speed.
The perfect grab bag for a close circle of five whiskey-loving buds with a spending limit of $25,000 each.
