Monday Forecast: Mostly sunny and warm today
Look for mostly sunny skies by the afternoon with highs into the mid 70s.
Tonight will be that transition period as the front moves down from the north. Overnight temperatures will struggle to fall out of the 70s as that muggy air pools ahead of the frontal boundary. Behind the front, there may be a few afternoon clearing. But, big changes will be noticed as soon as late this week. Wednesday and the rest of the week will have highs in the mid 60s and lows in the lower 40s.
Temperatures take a dive on Tuesday.
It’s a cold start this morning with temperatures dropping into the 20s and 30s. Despite sunshine, highs will only make it to the middle 50s.
A few showers may be possible for the area in the 7-8 day time frame, otherwise, after this Tuesday morning, it will stay dry and dusty across the region.
The weekend is looking mainly dry.
Behind that cold front we expect a long stretch of sunny, mild weather. The weekend will be even cooler with daytime highs struggling to reach the 50 degree mark. Highs will only warm into the 50s and 60s on Saturday and Sunday, with lows in the 30s by Sunday night.
So really enjoy the 70s today!
