Alek Skarlatos Breaks His Nose in ‘DWTS’ Rehearsal
Alek, who is best known as one of the French terror train heroes, reportedly broke his nose during rehearsal for Dancing with the Stars Monday morning.
Yikes! Alek Skarlatos is on the mend after being hit in the nose during “Dancing with the Stars” rehearsals.
While preparing for tonight’s “switch up” episode, Skarlatos’ new partner for the week, Emma Slater, elbowed the soldier right in the face during a spin in their Rumba.
Medics reportedly checked Skarlatos out at the dance studio, and while a broken nose was the early prognosis, Skarlatos will need to get a few X-Rays to confirm the type of injury.
Dancing With the Stars airs tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.
Skarlatos is an American Army National Guardsman who became famous after heroically preventing a potential terrorist attack aboard a Paris-bound train in August.
As DWTS fans know, it wasn’t that long that that contestant Kim Zolciak was disqualified from the show after having a mini-stroke in Atlanta, Ga., so if Alek decides not to perform because of his injury he faces the same fate. He returned home to Oregon earlier this month following a mass shooting at Umpqua Community College campus, where he had been registered to attend class, and recently visited his friend Spencer Stone in the hospital.
