Stage 4 and metastatic breast cancer are phrases used interchangeably – both mean the cancer has spread. “There are a few financial problems with people, childcare, things like this when people are going through treatment”.
After chemotherapy treatments, Diaz got the good news.
In 1984, Massachusetts cancer survivor Margery Gould Rath wanted to find a way to celebrate fellow cancer survivors by raising funds for the American Cancer Society. “You did it!” she recalled. Trust your gut feeling and go to the doctor.
It is also an opportunity to share the message with others. “And I got relatives that been hit by cancer and we try to work to eradicate the cancer by awareness”.
Is it common for young women to get breast cancer? “To me, I want to let them know that I see what they are doing and how they care”. However, there are certain established risk factors that are associated with breast cancer.
