Acer unveils Windows 10 devices, including convertible laptop and battery
The Aspire R 14 has a 14-inch display and a 360-degree hinge that allows it to be used in a wide variety of positions, including as a notebook, tablet, lying flat or standing on its edges.
Indeed, the Aspire Z3-700, like many other all-in-one PCs, is basically a screen with the brain and engine built directly into it. It’s like a giant tablet, in effect, that straddles the laptop and traditional desktop PC realm.
The Aspire R14 will be available later this month in the USA with a starting price of $699.
Microsoft featured a few Windows 10 devices of their own creation at their #Windows10Devices event last week and we honestly came away quite impressed.

Moving on to the form factor, this device comes with 15.6mm thickness and weighs around 2kg.
The Aspire Z3-700 is perhaps the more interesting device.
Moving on to specs, Acer Jade Primo has been confirmed to pack a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.
Powered by Intel Pentium or Celeron processors, up to 8GB of DDR3L system memory, and SSD or HDD storage options3, the Aspire Z3-700 provides ample performance for infotainment tasks. The battery itself lasts up to five hours, so you will need to revisit the plug socket every now and then. It comes equipped with a spacious backlit keyboard, powerful 5th generation Intel Core i7-5500U Processor. Storage duties are handled by SSDs and 802.11ac Wi-Fi with MU-MIMO technology takes care of your invisible high-speed connection to the information superhighway. By the end of 2015, the Acer Aspire Z3-700 will be available in Europe, Middle East and Africa at €599 (AU$928).
