Meanwhile, betting odds predicts that the next celebrity to be eliminated is Paul Deen. Bruno Tonioli said he saw a complete metamorphosis, and guest judge Maks praised her for getting out of her head and letting herself shine like the leading lady she is.
Tamar Braxton and Louis van Amstel: Someone took pity on poor old Louis and teamed him up with a star who can actually dance a samba.
Before sweet Hayes dances, my husband leaned over and said, “That guy looks exactly like a human version of a Disney Prince”. I very much want to go drinking with Maks and Bruno now. His own brother joined the crowd in boo-ing him.
JUDGES SCORES: Carrie Ann: 8 Julianne: 8 Maksim: 7 Brun0: 7 = TOTAL 31/40- Vote for Hayes Grier & professional dancer Allison Holker at voting #: 1*855*234*5608.
Maksim: The switch up think is hard… you’re an awesome performer, but it was difficult for you to get into this. They danced a Disney-inspired Viennese Waltz. What the routine really seemed to lack was consistency: When Tamar was nailing the choreography, her facial expression went completely blank… but to act like she was enjoying the routine meant missing a few steps along the way. Mark (and the rest of the world) assure her that he’s not.
Then Paula tries to lift her skirt again, wondering if there’s anything written on the front. Carrie Ann and Julianne both thought this was her best dance to date. The judges had a lot of fun, but it gets wierd when Paula seems to proposition Maks and Mark for a threesome. He recovered enough to point out that “Nice Southern girls don’t do that!” and then he critiqued her kicks and flicks.
Alek Skarlatos and Emma Slater danced a super passionate Rumba. Paula turns around and flashes the judges her panties. Plus, he got a date!
Bindi Irwin and Val Chmerkovskiy (cha cha)The dance: Coming off her 10-worthy dance last week, Bindi switches gears this week and is tasked with a cha cha. Julianne says that Mark brought the milk and Paula brought the cookies.
Aw, man, there’s a spin where Witney definitely didn’t keep her feet on the floor the whole time. Val is not convinced. The reason is because the switch of partners this week. Maks was also impressed, and the newly-formed duo nearly got a flawless score!
Howdy, new partner! Carlos and Lindsay quickstepped to Bossa Nova Baby right into the judges hearts. It was an impressive routine that could have passed for a cardio class at Lucille Roberts.
The Tango of Alexa PenaVega and Derek Hough was pure perfection!
Paula’s anxious about being paired up with Mark because he’s edgy. Bruno told the couple they were steamier than an erupting volcano, and Carrie Ann called it HOT!
Sharna’s goal for this week is to show Andy’s sexy side, and also to show his … balls. Later, we learn that her advice was to make a “smell the fart face”. As Sharna died of embarrassment, Maks shrugged, “Whatever works”.
This week, Nick Carter joined forces with Witney to conquer the paso doble.
