Nadal to Face Djokovic in China Open final
Novak Djokovic continued his recent superiority over Rafael Nadal as a dominant 6-2 6-2 win over the Spaniard earned the world number one a fourth successive China Open title. “I don’t know if you consider that one of the best players of the world or not”, he said.
Nadal, ahead of the final in Beijing, echoed the view of the wider tour in many way.
“It’s unbelievable, and I can’t wait to come back and defend my title next year”, she said at the trophy presentation of her biggest title to date.
Novak Djokovic and Rafa Nadal have enjoyed a record-breaking rivalry at the summit of their sport and will play for the 45th time at the China Open final.

The Serb has already secured his place at the ATP World Tour Finals, while Nadal continues his quest for a berth in the season finale. A few sizzling returns from the baseline brought another break for Djokovic, and the best player in the world served out the set to love, 6-2, with a few pitch-perfect serving and a bullet of a forehand victor to close.
