Trump pressed by skeptics at bipartisan event
Touting the necessity for compromise with Democrats, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated he & Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders share a standard concern about trade deals.
The Problem Solver Convention, organized by No Labels and The Hill, is the first opportunity for voters to hear from candidates from both major parties.
Trump used his usual stump speech at the event, touting his speedy and under-budget overhaul of a botched renovation of the Wollman ice skating rink in New York City’s Central Park as proof of his ability to get things done.
