Missing roommates found dead, 1 likely killed other, hid body closet
The body of a missing Manchester woman was found Sunday hidden in a crawl space, according to police.
Her roommate, Stephen Andrade, 36, killed himself in a Massachusetts motel October. 6.
Hutchinson was last seen on September 20, 2015, and reported missing by police on September 23, after family members became concerned about her whereabouts.
His motives are still unclear at this time.
Police have said Andrade had been dating Hutchinson’s daughter, had broken it off, but that he and the mother had remained roommates.
Neighbor Chris Peffer told WMur: ‘It just didn’t seem right that she up and left with all her stuff behind’.
Andrade was last seen the night after Hutchinson disappeared, driving her silver 2005 BMW 5-series sedan, which was found at Gold’s Gym’s parking lot in Merrimack on Monday. He also spent time with relatives in Boston. After removing the panel, they found a body and believe it to be Hutchinson’s. Another vehicle belonging to Hutchinson was found near her Manchester home shortly after their disappearance.
Foster and Manchester Police Chief Enoch F. Willard said in a joint statement this morning that an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow to make a positive identification.
Assistant Attorney General Jeff Strelzin said when investigators arrived, they localized the smell to entrance of the home, and entered a closet.
