“I wouldn’t be at all surprised that if, in three to four years Klopp is still at the club that not one of the current central defenders is still making the daily trip to Melwood”.

The England global will undoubtedly be given his chance to prove himself under Klopp and Lallana has already expressed his excitement at working under the 48-year-old, per PA Sport (via ESPN FC).

“When I manage a club, each young player should smile because their chance is bigger than it ever was”, Klopp said, as quoted by the Mirror.

“I was asked about it and it took me off-guard”.
