Rita Ora Wants To Remake “Lady Marmalade” – But Iggy Azalea & Twitter

Taylor Swift is known for her epic girl squad, and it seems like Rita Ora is taking a cue from the “Bad Blood” singer!

Rita wants to round up all her celeb mates to create another pop power anthem featuring a host of today’s hottest stars – but one of them is adamant she doesn’t want to be involved. She stated that she would love to re-record the track with Azalea, Miley Cyrus and Charli XCX. She continued, “I’m trying to round up the troops”.

But it turns out the universe believes perfection was achieved in 2001 and people on social media were quick to smack down this new proposal.

Azalea took to Twitter to note she has “nothing to do” with the idea Ora floated.

Tweeters responded to Rita’s idea with their own picks for the “Lady Marmalade” lineup, throwing out names like Demi Lovato, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj Tinashe, Ariana Grande, Rihanna and, Lady Gaga.

She added, “Please leave me out of the whole Lady Marmalade conversation”.

Charli appears to like the idea and tweeted, “I’m down”, but Aussie rapper Iggy isn’t so keen. Another agreed, “Hope this never makes it off the ground.none of these artist are worthy of performing such a song as Lady Marmalade”.
