‘Teen Wolf’ Midseason 5 Premiere is Coming This Winter

The midseason five premiere of MTV’s Teen Wolf is scheduled for Tuesday, January 5 at 9PM EST.

After the crowd went wild upon his entrance, a trailer for the next part of the season (5b) was shown.

In August’s season 5A finale of the MTV drama, Scott fought Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) over Hayden’s (Victoria Moroles) fate, Lydia (Holland Roden) and Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) were struggling to stay alive and Theo (Cody Christian) brought the chimeras, including Hayden, back to life.

I can’t say I was a tremendous fan of season five, as it began strong but quickly dipped in quality as the show fell victim to it’s greatest weakness, overstuffed and over crowded with villains we had no real interest in.

It was then that they were met on-stage by JR Bourne. His return to the series was earlier revealed in the trailer when the former werewolf hunter showed up with a gun after Scott told Malia that he called for a few backup when they faced the Dread Doctors.

“Teen Wolf” character Kira Yukimura (Arden Cho) will also be making a comeback.

Fans of the couple are probably more than happy to hear this, but it won’t be enough to distract them from the fact that Scott’s current relationship with his long-time best friend Stiles (Dylan O’ Brien) is on the rocks.

The opening episodes will focus on Scott and Theo’s packs teaming up to take on a new monster.
