Donald Trump plans to live-tweet Democrati
Over the weekend, Donald Trump held a press conference with several Evangelical and African-American church leaders in Georgia in an effort to, as Fox News put it, “show he has support within the faith community”. “I respect women, I love women, I cherish women”, Trump said.
“I said in the beginning he is not going to go away quickly”.
Sanders himself did not appear in person at the No Labels convention.
Another attendee prefaced her question with “I don’t think you’re a friend to women”.
“We need compromise,” he said. Jim Webb of Virginia and former Gov. George Pataki of New York also spoke. I watched president Obama last night on television. “He does and says the right things”. He is, you know, the classic reality TV character and at this early stages it’s not surprising that he’s gotten a lot of attention.
The former Democratic senator and governor is on the advisory board for No Labels, a group formed in 2010 to promote ways that Washington politicians can find common ground.
Climate change “is for me folks, a problem that needs to be resolved, not a religion,” he said. It does happen too infrequently, he said. How will the next president and Congress come together to solve America’s problems?
Alphacat, dressed in a black suit as Obama, schools Trump on what he’s done in his “back to back” presidential terms while riding around on an Oxboard and backed by an entourage of secret service agents. I got together with everybody – the city, the council – everything had to be done fast. Trump also said he will allow the “good” immigrants who are deported to return to the U.S.in an “expedited” fashion. Trump’s recent rejection of mainstream Republicans, and his public statements about faith have drawn in Mike Yearick. “Trump can say ‘I’m spending my own money.’ I think that’s big part of his appeal”.
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders captured 25 percent of the vote in the poll, and Vice President Joe Biden, who has not declared his candidacy, received 18 percent. It was a far cry from Trump’s usual events, which often feature thousands of enthusiastic fans cheering him on.
The audience began booing as Trump moved on to the next question.
In the spirit of working across the political aisle, No Labels had a member of the opposition party introducing speakers.
But Trump, who famously attacked Florida Gov. Jeb Bush for lacking energy, does not think the Democratic candidates have what it takes to mirror that feat.
While Republican voters in Connecticut appear to favor outsiders, Democrats prefer frontrunner Hillary Clinton. “This is one of the things we have to look at very strongly”.
“I don’t get it: What’s going on in our country?” She pointed to the $18 trillion debt.
