Florida QB Grier suspended for violating NCAA rules on PEDs

Before we get to the news of the day and its repercussions, let’s ponder a hypothetical.

In the preseason, McElwain was asked about Grier’s weight gain since arriving – something not uncommon for a recruit once put into a college program.

LSU’s offense looks like it could be exceedingly hard to stop if its passing game performs well. “I really hope that people can learn from this, learn from my mistake”. It’s a true kick in the gut for the Gators and a quarterback they thought was their future star.

Wide receiver Antonio Callaway has a bruise in his leg that won’t hold him out, while defensive lineman Joey Ivie pulled muscles in his stomach. “But then again, that’s how we worked when Treon wasn’t here”. We will prepare in the same way.
