President Obama Crashed A Wedding

Elizabeth Elliott told Fox5 San Diego that she brought out her two children for a chance to greet the president, calling it an “amazing opportunity”.

President Barack Obama made a memorable detour Sunday in San Diego, stopping by Torrey Pines for a quick round on the South Course and staying long enough to make a memorable guest appearance at a wedding held on the property.

President Obama ended his Southern California weekend with a round of golf before heading back to Washington, D.C., late Monday.

The president spent Saturday night and Sunday relaxing with his family in Rancho Santa Fe, and found time for a round of golf Sunday at Torrey Pines and another trip to the links Monday at The Crosby Club. Obama stopped for a few photographs with the couple and chatted briefly, although he reportedly turned down an offer to officiate the wedding.

“Once we saw him coming up I just, I plastered myself against the window, because we had been forced inside, they weren’t allowing us out on the balcony, and I was just hoping that they’d notice my wedding dress”, affirmed Stephanie. The couple went to meet Mr. Obama and the crowd gave the space to the special couple.
