When it comes to predicting the victor this season, wildlife conservationist Bindi Irwin, who has gotten the top judges’ score three times already with Emmy-winning pro partner Derek Hough, continues to rise. Well, Tom Bergeron announced that no one was going home! Carlos Pena Vega has 20/1 chances of getting eliminated in “Dancing With the Stars” (DWTS) Season 21 (2015) Week 5. He may be overreaching a bit with Tamar, who looks a little intimidated by the intricate routine.
Without further ado, let’s break down the most memorable performances of the evening, in which no one was eliminated. “You were trying [too hard] not to mess up”, Maks said. The dances are twice as long this week as previous dances.
Hayes Grier was switched to dance with Allison Holker. But hey, he is only 15, and can rock a set of coattails like nobody’s business. And while the two female judges fell under Prince Charming’s spell, the men were not so impressed.
Carrie Ann says nothing of substance, except to call it Paula’s best dance ever.
They’re both excited to be partnered together. The female judiciary adore it greater than the guys judiciary do, by having Maks competing the task of Len Goodman, evaluating the insufficient Viennese in the Waltz.
Paula Deen was partnered with Mark Ballas for a Jive. He’s not taking it easy at all, giving her the hardest routine she’s had yet. Seems like Louis should take a cue from this dance – Paula isn’t going to win the competition on her footwork alone, but a little fun never killed anyone. That was definitely not the case, as we may have seen the best performances of the entire season last night and that is from all of the couples!
Derek was a good mate and also their Tango became the owners of a standing up approval from Carrie Ann and expert 10s from the total judges’ counter. Julianne’s critique is interrupted by Paula flashing the judges’ table. “Nice Southern girls don’t do that!” After their dance, Erin Andrews played matchmaker and Emma agreed to a date with Alek.
Ir’s easy for him because Lindsay is BFFs with his original partner, Witney, but he also gets jealous that Witney is dancing with a Backstreet Boy.
“I want to take a moment to say that my dad loved this show”, Tom said during the show’s closing credits. Carrie Ann gets passed over, but gives Emma and Alek a wordless thumbs up. Bruno does point out that the rumba could have been smoother – that you don’t step in the rumba so much as you glide. Maksim Chmerkovskiy returns to the ballroom as a guest judge this week.
Bruno loved it. He compliments Carlos on his topline.
The partner pairing drawing the most concern among fans is Bindi Irwin and Val Chmerkovskiy, who will dance a Cha Cha Cha. Alek admitted that he had a bit of a crush on Emma and said that she was hot.
Lindsay is just a light little bit of merriment, she’s just what Carlos needed, and I loved the fast fun of his Quickstep. At one point, Mark pulls Paula’s skirt up so high I begin to have questions about her waxing routine. Bruno starts pawing Maks and just about ends up in his lap. Maks is sitting between Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli, making him the third score. Maks is being such a good sport with Bruno tonight.
