Stephen Curry apologizes for Warriors’ health, playoff path, success
Now Draymond Green is talking, and he didn’t hold back on the naysayers around the league Tuesday.
Yet, Vegas does not have them as championship favourites (+275, Cavaliers), or even Western Conference favourites (+350, Spurs). We’ll rectify that situation this year.
The commercial features NBA MVP Stephen Curry, NBA Players Association MVP James Harden, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Yao Ming, Magic Johnson and many more. I think – and I say this as someone who’s watched the mentions of a popular sports Twitter account fill with talk of “entitlement” and nasty remarks about Stephen Curry’s daughter – people are exhausted of the Warriors now.
“So, it’s amusing. It’s like a bitter female”. You ever dealt with a bitter female that’s just scorned? God.
Asked why he believes the Warriors are attracting this particular criticism, Green said, “People hate change”. “When you’re dealing with a bitter female that’s scorned, that’s one of the worst things in the world”.
Two major topics of discussion after the Warriors’ shootaround Tuesday morning were the players’ interaction with President Obama in San Francisco on Saturday, and the Clippers’ recent statements intimating Golden State was somewhat lucky to win the National Basketball Association title in June. They’re used to Golden State just floating around the bottom of the league. “And God, that’s bad”.
Team on Rise: Golden State Warriors – Most of the core hasn’t peaked yet. “You need luck in the West”, said Doc Rivers, referring to the ways by which an National Basketball Association team could stand out and eventually go home with the championship trophy. “When you add new guys into the system and they get more comfortable, everyone starts to play better”.
Klay Thompson scoffed at those comments Friday, and Rivers later clarified his comments. Twice they fell behind 2-1 in playoff series, only to win game four and never look back, that includes in the finals. It’s simple. Gregg Popovich didn’t say that. “I’ve actually got my [championship] ring fitted for my middle finger, so they can kiss that one”, Bogut said. “And you haven’t heard anybody in their camp say that”, he said. So who cares what they say.
What the Warriors refuse to realize: Acknowledging the fortunate breaks they received en route to their championship is not the same as saying they didn’t deserve their championship. Don’t gas me up.’ And he was, like, ‘No, for real: “You’re his favorite player'”.
