Bloodborne: Game of the Year Edition announced for Europe
Bloodborne was a big hit for Sony and From Software at the start of the year, bringing the Dark Souls creators back to the console family on which they first tested their distinctive brand of ultra-difficult action RPG gaming.
Bloodborne has been easily one of the best games of the year, and still stands as one of the sole reasons you should already own a PS4. On top of this, The Old Hunters also offers players the ability to go native and transform into terrifying beasts.
Aside from having far better box-art than the original game itself (honestly, look at how gorgeous it is), the GOTY edition will feature the core Bloodborne title along with the recently announced Old Hunters Expansion. Also, there’s no word on the price of the bundle just yet.
The Game of the Year Edition appears to be the Western version of The Old Hunters Edition announced at TGS 2015, which it’s believed will only be available in Japan. Sony, on the other hand, will also see the GOTY as the ideal way to promote the PS4 exclusive at a time when the Xbox One’s holiday line-up, with the likes of Halo 5: Guardians and Rise of the Tomb Raider, is considerably stronger.
The DLC was previously given a release date of November 24.
